A Message From ILTexas CSK8 PTO: Leadership Updates

Eagle Family,

We have an important leadership updates to share. Our PTO President, Alyssa May, will be stepping down as she accepts a new role on campus as a Special Education Resource Aide. While we will miss her leadership on the board, we’re grateful that she will continue serving our students and remain a strong supporter of the PTO.

Since joining the board in 2021, Alyssa has led with heart, steadiness, and a deep commitment to families, staff, and students. Her guidance has shaped many of our current initiatives and strengthened our culture of service. On behalf of our community, thank you, Alyssa, for your years of dedication and the lasting impact of your work.

With this transition, we are pleased to announce the following appointments to ensure continuity and momentum:

Ashley Fillippa will serve as President. Ashley brings energy, organization, and a collaborative spirit to the role, and we’re confident she will guide the PTO forward with clarity and care.

Allison Alexander will serve as Vice President. Allison’s experience and reliability will be invaluable as we plan events, support teachers and staff, and engage families across the school.

We also welcome Mateo Andres as Communications Co-Chair. Mateo joined the PTO in 2024 and volunteers with WATCH D.O.G.S. He is a single father to five children, four of whom attend ILTexas this year. Mateo will partner closely with our Communications team to keep families informed and involved.

  • Volunteers: Brynn Pinto

As Ashley and Allison step into their new roles, they will work closely with our board and committees to ensure a smooth transition and uninterrupted support for our students and staff. Please join us in congratulating them, welcoming Mateo, and expressing our gratitude to Alyssa for her faithful service.
